The Historic Smith Hotel Bed and Breakfast is located in the heart of Utah's Color Country, and is open year-round for your pleasure and convenience. We are a pleasant and relaxing destination -- an escape from the hustle and bustle of the everyday world.

The Hotel was originally built in 1927 as a boarding house hotel, and is now furnished with period antiques throughout.  We also buy/sell antiques, collectibles, and local crafts at the hotel.

We have 7 bedrooms, 4 porches (2 screened) for your enjoyment, and a wood burning, bubbling hot tub for relaxing in after a hard day of fun in one of the local parks.  A coin operated laundry is also available for your convenience.  Smoking in the Hotel is not permitted, nor are pets.  Limited access is available for disabled persons.

Our room rates are subject to tax and include breakfast. We offer a 10% discount for AAA, AARP and reservations of 3 nights or more. Please feel free to contact us regarding group rates. We love hosting families, cycle clubs, and tour groups.

There are over 2 acres for your enjoyment including herb and flower gardens, fruit trees (pick your own fruit during season), lawn croquet, and picnic tables.

The Smith Hotel is enroute to the Grand Canyon, located 18 miles from Zion National Park, 47 miles to Bryce National Monument, 60 miles to Pipe Springs, 15 miles to Escalante, 17 miles to Coral Pink Sand Dunes, and 45 miles to Panguitch Lake. Directly across the street from the Hotel is the western access portal to the Grand Staircase - Escalante National Monument.
